Another new-to-me stone! This one I knew about but had never gotten my hands on before: astrophylite. From a distance it looks like a matte blackish-grey, sort of like lava stone but more solid, but if you look very closely there are streaks of silvery-blue flashing across it. It’s subtle, and very neat.
