The guitar boasts a classical tone from an aesthetically streamlined body design typical of Katoh stage guitars. A slim body, fitted with the SG1 Digital Smart EQ, developed and produced by the manufacturers of Katoh in conjunction with DOUBLE Acoustics. The fingerstyle pickup has dual inputs with under-saddle piezo and microphone which is capable of accurately reproducing the tone and dynamics of a player’s performance. The EQ also features DOUBLE’s DSP module and sound processing that includes a pristine reverb and delay effects to enhance a player’s dynamics. When practicing alone, the SG1 can be connected to headphones without disturbing others, or to an amp for impressive musical performances. OTG functionality to with USB C charging socket, allows the system to connect to recording devices such as mobile phones or computers and enabling direct recording without the need for sound card conversion.
